Daniel Oliver to contest the 2026 IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge

This is the one Daniel Oliver has been building toward. In 2026 he makes his debut in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, contesting endurance rounds alongside a co-driver.

Everything so far — the sim seat time, the FIA licence, the Praga campaigns across the UK — was groundwork. IMSA is a different order of challenge: longer stints, driver changes, fuel and tyre strategy, and races decided as much in the data room as on the track. That suits the way Daniel works.

He approaches this season the way he approaches every problem: measure first, then act. Every practice run becomes a dataset. Every driver change becomes a procedure the crew rehearses until it’s boring. The goal isn’t a single hero lap — it’s consistency, mistake-free stints, and giving the strategist clean information to work with.

There’s a bigger reason this matters too. IMSA weekends are where Project Limit Break comes to life — bringing students into a real paddock to work alongside engineers, strategists, mechanics and media. Racing at this level opens that door wider than ever.

Round-by-round schedule details are still being confirmed. Keep an eye on the schedule — dates and circuits will be published as they lock in.
