Daniel Oliver joins Shopify Racing for the Airbnb Endurance Challenge finale at Road America

Daniel Oliver has been announced as a driver for Shopify Racing, joining the programme for the final round of the IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge at Road America in the LMP3 class.

The announcement was made by TWOth Autosport, the team that operates the Shopify Racing programme, on 31 July 2026.

Shopify Racing is a Canadian endurance programme founded in 2026 by Shopify founder-driver Tobi Lütke, run in partnership with operating partner TWOth Autosport. Its LMP3 entry — the No. 2 Ligier JS P325, in a pixel-inspired livery representing millions of Shopify brands — contests the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge.

For the endurance finale, Daniel joins Travis Hill in the car. Hill arrives at Road America working to close out the Bronze championship, which puts a title on the line in the same stint sequence Daniel steps into.

Announcing the signing, the team pointed to the route Daniel took to get there:

“Daniel has had an incredible journey through motorsports, starting in sim racing and then translating his proven speed into cars where the success has continued. Driving in Praga Cup UK and Mazda B spec machinery where he was no stranger to the top step of the podium.”

“I’m super excited to be joining this amazing team. Very much looking forward to what we can do at the final round. Road America is an amazing track and I’ve been prepping super hard on the sim and staying fresh since my last outing at COTA. Super excited to jump in and can’t wait to work with the team more closely.”

Road America

The IMSA Airbnb Endurance Challenge visits Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on 14–16 August 2026, with the race running on Sunday 16 August. The four-mile road course is one of the fastest permanent circuits in North America — long straights, heavy braking zones and serious commitment through the Carousel and the Kink.

It is Daniel’s second IMSA endurance start of the season, following his debut at the Circuit of the Americas in May, and it comes barely two years on from the sim rig where the whole thing started.

Full session times and the rest of the calendar are on the schedule.
